Made the trip Henshaw over the weekend with some good results. My dad decided to make the trip out as well, which is always fun. We walked a good chunk of shoreline and there was a few fish cruising the shallows but you had to work a bit to get them to bite. I was being stubborn and just fished the dry. I had three fish kiss my hopper before I was able to get one to eat and man was he pissed. He took me deep into the backing on the first run. The carp gave me a few more runs before he came to hand. My dad was able to get a few kisses but none to hand. The one good thing is that the weather was just about perfect and I got to see my pup with my parents.
