Mount Shasta Region
Located in the northeastern corner of the state, Mt. Shasta and the surrounding area is often referred to as the “Golden Triangle.” This is mainly because of its many trout and Salmon-filled watersheds including the McCloud, Upper Sacramento, Fall, Pit, Klamath Rivers and Hat Creek. This area of California probably has the most fish per square mile, than anywhere else in the state. It is truly amazing how many fishing opportunities are available in this area.
