Saturday was the start of a new chapter in each of our lives, and you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect start to this story.
Sunshine, 80 degrees, and a Bird Rock Fly Shop packed with passionate anglers, salivating over thousands of flies. Well, that and our secret recipe Serbian hamburgers, cooked by our 5 star chef, Chuck Ludat. (Thanks Chuck!)
Friendships were made, secrets were shared, and strategies were exchanged, all together and underneath one roof, in a little neighborhood of La Jolla. It was a day that we had patiently waited for, for a long, long time. For some of us, 16 years to be exact. Much like those epic days on the river, it was one that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. It was truly magical!
We wanted to take this time, and thank each and every one of you, for making this day special for us. Without you, none of this would have been possible. We look forward to seeing you all in the very near future!
